NFHS offers free online course for parents

The National Federation of State High School Associations has produced a free online course, "The Role of the Parent in Sports." This free course is designed to educate parents about their role as a sport parent in the interscholastic setting. The NFHS developed a 10-minute introduction to the course that can be shown at preseason parent meetings.

This introduction provides a course overview and assessment of parents' understanding of their role as they interact with their child, coaches, officials and other parents.
